    Plenty of water on the black beans.... Mostly liquid!! What a ripoff . The rice was very dry and corn was full of oil.... Th chicken was ok.. check out La Granja across the street

    Good healthy-ish fast food. Can be pricy. Never been inside but the drivethru generally gets the orders right.

    This has to be the slowest location I have ever been to. 20 minutes in the drive thru!?! Why? After such a long wait it would be nice to receive an apologetic smile, but no just silence and attitude. Time to find an alternative location! 3 stars only for the food and fair price.

    This place has the worst service I ever seen plus the managers is extremely rude I came in to buy food i actually work for Pollo Tropical tried to use my discount rudely turned away the manager was extremely rude so where the other coworkers I would not recommend this place to eat at all.

    They were slacking on having chicken cooked, people actually asked for money back because it was taking too long. The cook and other employees we're arguing and you could see they were upset with him. Check your bag before you leave to make sure your complete order is in there.

    Seriously, hands down, the best -- spanish food under $10, $20, $30, $40. The rice is perfect every time. The chicken made any way, is always nice and fresh. The pork is so tasty. The tropichops are the bomb! Sides of yucca or black beans and rice is necessary. And MAJOR TIP: Get extra garlic/cilantro sauce!! And curry mustard. Pour over whole meal and CHOW DOWN.

    I've never been to Pollo Tropical, but I have to say I really enjoyed my first visit. I got the regular Tropichop, which is like a Chipotle burrito bowl. I do think the great differentiator at PT is the curry mustard, which is a great sauce. They also have Matiza which is a yerba mate soda. Mate is a great drink - even better in a soda form. Good value for money and generally courteous staff.

    Takes too long, every table in the place is always dirty, it looks like a bomb went off in the dining room, the salsa bar is literally empty, the restroom is disgusting.

    This review is primarily for the manager Miguel! I had experienced a few bouts of poor customer service at this location, but he immediately remedied the situation and acted with extreme professionalism and kindness. You guys have a great member on your team. Kudos!

    Tried their shrimp tropichop special. All I can say - Please take it off the menu till your people learn how to cook shrimp. Chewy, hard, taste almost like their are dried shrimp - that's how tough they were. Why black beans have so much liquid in them is beyond me. The tropichop is swimming in bean liquid. Learn from Chicken Kitchen - drain it! Lesson elarned: better drive a mile to Chicken Kitchen than go across the street to Pollo Tropical.

    You get what you pay for. In my opinion the half chicken dinner is well worth $7$ and change. I love the boiled white stuff sorry I can't spell it. YUKAH so far its been bang for my buck.

    The food is up to par with other Pollo Tropicals but the service is a monumental disgrace. I placed a simple order and everything right down to the drink got screwed up. When I stood at the counter for some assistance to get it fixed, I was ignored. I had to yell at someone to get their attention, and even after that, I had to explain to a manager my order was wrong. Instead of giving me the side Caesar salad that I ordered, they just put some lettuce under the Tropichop and called it good. I explained that I ordered a Caesar side salad and the manager argued with me saying "I put lettuce on top of your rice so I didn't charge you for a salad." Did I ask for lettuce to be put under the meat? No. I told him I didn't want rice or beans with the order. Sure enough, rice & black beans came out. Then the drink came out wrong, and I had to go back up twice because they kept giving me Coca-Cola. I specifically asked "is this unsweet tea?" The response: "I think so." Well why don't you think your way into finding out if it's tea or not? Of course, that was asking far too much. The entire time that I was waiting for my order to get fixed, I was low on the priority list. My drink sat there on the counter for 5 minutes before the same person I had just complained to that the order was wrong looks at me and says "what you want?" By the time they got the screw ups fixed, I was in the mood to leave as soon as I could. Everyone there operates with a level of indifference that is troubling. Stay away from this place, or use the drive-thru and triple check your order. I won't be back to this place. Not a chance.

    Portions are not consistent with what is shown on the menu, when brought to the staffs attention they did not care, avoid this place unless you want shitty customer service.

    Once upon a time I sat in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and when I arrived at the speaker all I heard was: "We all out of chicken, we only got pork." Then I had to sit in the line for another 30 minutes as everyone else in front of me waited on their orders. 50 minutes of my life gone. Poof. Wasted sitting and getting 0 MPG at this god awful Pollo Tropical. This review would be pretty lame if this was the one and only time it happened to me, but it's not. The last hour and a half of the day (10:30p until 12a) is quite busy. I'd say it's almost like lunchtime. This location, as a matter of routine, runs out of basic ingredients all the time. The staff and management clearly lack proper planning skills. I can understand once or twice here and there, but not regularly. When they actually have food in stock, it's hit or miss, and I only ever get the basics: Two boneless breasts with beans and rice or the TropiChop with chicken, beans, brown rice and corn. Sometimes the chicken is watery and devoid of flavor, other times the chicken is dry but with a great flavor. I don't know what they do on the inside!
